Finding the Corn Exchange
The Corn Exchange is on Wheeler Street, which is located in the centre of Cambridge, directly behind the Guildhall which is in the Market Square. For the nearest parking, follow signs to Grand Arcade car park.
The Corn Exchange is accessible by turning either from Hills Road or Trumpington Street into Lensfield Road then into Tennis Court Road, right into Downing Street and left into Corn Exchange Street.
By road
By bicycle
The Grand Arcade cycle park has covered space for over 200 cycles. It closes every night at 11.30pm. Cyclists can access the cycle park from Corn Exchange Street – when travelling from Downing Street, the entrance is on the right after the car park entrance – and pedestrians can enter from Grand Arcade or Fisher Square.
By train
The Corn Exchange is approximately a 20 minute walk from the train station. Upon leaving the station go straight down Station Road and turn right onto Hills Road. Walk down Hills Road which leads on to Regent Street. Turn left into Downing Street, and then turn right after The City Centre Hotel onto Corn Exchange Street. The Corn Exchange is at the bottom of this street.

Queen Anne car park (Gonville Place)
This car park is slightly further away, but is no more than a 10 minute walk from Cambridge Corn Exchange.
Directions: Head out of the car park and down Regent's Terrace (runs alongside the big green park called Parker's Piece) into Regent Street, turn left into Downing Street and right into Corn Exchange Street.

Bag Policy
At the Cambridge Corn Exchange, we prioritise the safety and comfort of all our guests. To ensure a smooth, safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, and to keep entry times to a minimum, we have implemented the following bag policy:
Bag Restriction
We ask that you only bring the essentials. Guests are permitted to bring one small bag per person, that is smaller than A4 size (21W x 30L cm x 20D).
Large backpacks, travel cases, shopping bags and any bags exceeding the specified size will not be allowed into the venue.
Bag Check Facility
We provide a secure bag check facility for all standing events and encourage guests to utilise this. Our staff can assist you in checking your bag at the designated area. There is a cost of £3 per item.
Prohibited Items
Certain items are strictly prohibited within the venue premises. Prohibited items include but are not limited to weapons, illegal substances, outside food or beverages, liquids, sharp objects, professional cameras, and recording devices.
Exceptions
Exceptions to the bag size restriction may be made for individuals who are required to bring medical items or care provider equipment. These items will be subject to our search policy and we encourage guests requiring such exceptions to inform our staff in advance of the event to ensure a smooth entry process.
Cambridge Corn Exchange Terms of Entry
Welcome to Cambridge Corn Exchange. We strive to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors. By entering the premises, you agree to comply with the following terms:
Age Restrictions & ID
Entry is permitted subject to the age restriction which may vary from show to show. Proof of age or identify may be required.
Tickets
Entry to the venue will be granted upon presentation of a valid ticket. Your ticket is valid only for the event and time specified on the ticket. Tickets purchased from unauthorised sources may not be valid. Tickets cannot be exchanged nor refunded unless an event is called or postponed. Latecomers may not be admitted at discretion of the Promoter and/or Event Manager.
Security Checks
Guests may be subject to security checks, including but not limited to bag inspections; pat downs and metal detection as a measure to ensure everyone's safety. You may be searched upon entry and/or at any other time during the event. You have the right to refuse to be searched. The venue has the right to refuse entry or eject individuals from the venue at any point.
Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited on the premises:
- Weapons or hazardous objects of any kind
- llegal substances
- Outside food or beverages unless explicitly permitted
- Any item deemed potentially disruptive or dangerous by venue staff
If illegal items are found upon your persons, you will be refused entry and police will be called.
Behavior Expectations
Patrons must conduct themselves respectfully towards others and venue staff. Multiple incidents of crowd surfing, or other activities within the crowd that could cause injury may result in ejection from the premises. We have a zero tolerance to abusive behavior. Any disruptive or offensive behavior will result in immediate removal from the premises, without refund, and the police may be contacted where appropriate.
Photography and Recording
By entering the venue you are giving consent to be filmed as part of an audience. The use of professional recording equipment is not permitted by any unauthorised personnel.
Entry Refusal
Venue management reserves the right to refuse entry to any individual not complying with these terms or deemed unfit for entry without providing a reason or a refund.

The Cambridge Corn Exchange and Cambridge Live Tickets Box Office are designed to cater for the needs of all our customers, including those with disabilities. Corn Exchange Seating
We have wheelchair and disabled access seats reserved on both the flat floor (rows O and R) and in the boxes (Hirsch and Salisbury boxes). We also have a row reserved for visually impaired customers (row K). During standing performances the accessible seats are in the boxes. Customers attending in wheelchairs or customers with disabilities are also welcome to purchase tickets in the standing area (please note: there is not a viewing platform in this area), please contact the Box Office if you have any queries about attending in this area.
Booking tickets
Tickets can be booked over the phone (number and opening hours above), in person or online.
If you haven’t booked accessible tickets online with us before, please email us* at tickets@cambridge.gov.uk to request we adjust your account in order to make it possible for you to complete online accessible bookings. Once we have amended your account, you will be able to view and book accessible seating and essential companion tickets once logged into your account.

Once your account is tagged you will be able to view accessible seating options on the seating plans. Please note, it is important to be logged into your account before viewing the seating plans. The seating will look similar to this for seated shows:
Venue Toilets
We have two accessible toilets in our venue. One located at the front of the building and the other at back end. Both toilets are wide enough for wheelchairs and powerchairs to get through and are complete with grab rails.
If you would like to book accessible seating, your account with the Cambridge Corn Exchange must have a tag applied to it. Please email tickets@cambridge.gov.uk or call 01223 357851 (Mon-Fri 10am-5pm)* to request we add this tag to your account. Please read our access document in advance of booking to ensure the tickets you book are the most suitable.
Access to the box office
The Box Office for the Corn Exchange is called Cambridge Live Tickets and is located left of the venue, two doors down (next to the restaurant Steak & Honour.)
The Cambridge Live Tickets Box Office is currently closed, however, when there is a performance taking place the Box Office opens at 6pm (or an hour before a matinee starts) and closes half an hour after the start time (or until 9pm for standing performance.)

Audio Loop
There is an infra-red hearing enhancement system which can be used either with, or without a hearing aid. The system only works in the auditorium and balcony. The headphones and receiver can be obtained from the steward at the Customer Services Desk. No deposit is required but the stewards will ask for your name and seat number” There are 6 sets available which consist of, a headset, receiver and neck loop. There are certain areas within the auditorium where the system doesn’t work:- Rows S to Z, seats 1 to 8 (House Right), at the rear of the auditorium. Rows XF to XK Rows O to R, seats 1 to 4 Using the system with a hearing aid Headphones are attached to the receiver and then worn in a similar fashion to a personal stereo. For those customers with hearing aids without a T setting, we suggest using this system with headphones but removing your hearing aid whilst inside the auditorium. The loop should be placed around the customer’s neck and attached to the receiver. The receiver should remain uncovered at all times, in order to pick up the signal. They can use channels 0 - 4 to receive the sound. The volume can be controlled on the receiver. Using the system without a hearing aid The headphones should be attached to the receiver and worn in similar fashion to a personal stereo. The receiver should remain uncovered at all times, in order to pick up the signal. They can use channels 0 - 4 to receive the sound. The volume can be controlled on the receiver.
